I really wonder why the anime made Yui so empty like, guys, she originally has a personnality. She has the strenght to remain nice and to have faith even in the worst of situations. She actually fights back and try to run, she just never succeed. She's a gentle, witty and clever girl who's emotionally and physically abused by people who wouldn't hesitate to kill her. The poor girl try to not give up hope, she tries to believe in her god, her father, and her personal belief, but she's manipulated into thinking she's tainted and not worthy of believing anymore. They make her believe that everything is her fault, and that she can never be forgiven. tw suicide In some routes, she actually comes close to killing herself to escape her situation. She tried everything else. Escaping doesn't work and is faced with punishment, reaching out was unsuccessful, and she feels like god wouldn't want her anymore. That's really sad. Anyway stan Yui I love her so much and I wish I could romance her (well she actually dream of becoming a nun so idk if she would be up to it but STILL)

It's always funny reading the comments, because it seems no know knows this anime/ game is based on Stockholm Syndrome. Yui had been held captive for so long she's become emotionally and mentally dependent on them. Not that she loves them but with the memories constantly flowing into her from them she developed large amounts of sympathy. Plus she wouldn't be able to live in the outside world either, because the church would probably come find her not to mention she's already a half vampire so she needs to feed. She literally can't move on with her life without guidance😂. Well that's what I got from this anime, and I still love it because I've grown up in and around environments like these. So even if your traumatized you learn to laugh it off an continue on with life. But you learn real quick love is b*llsh*t and the world should just hurry up and explode😃
