I’ve seen very EXPENSIVE weddings end in less than two years. I’ve also seen modest weddings that lasted a lifetime. Some people are too caught up in the show of it all. That wedding day doesn’t NOT make a successful marriage. The work you put into your marriage is what makes it work.

Her mom gives a clear vision of the dynamics in her family. There's nothing wrong with wanting "the best" for your child, however, it seems that what you value may dictate what "the best" is.
