Commentator Alex Stein has criticised the Secret Service over its handling of the situation following former US President Donald Trump’s assassination attempt during a rally in Pennsylvania.
“This is a serious issue for the Secret Service there is only one other roof across the whole entire event that had a shootable lane to the president and they had to wait till he shoots them,” Mr Stein said.
“This is a lack of professionalism by the Secret Service that doesn’t care about actually protecting Donald Trump.”

How does this rooftop not get a man posted on it? How is it not constantly overwatched if not manned? Why no drones? How does someone toting a rifle and wearing combat fatigues get past the outer perimeter? Why were bystanders ignored who were trying to alert authorities for several minutes while the shooter was getting into position? How did 8 shots get fired before the shooter was neutralized? Is the allegation about Myorkas accurate regarding his refusal to grant additional security? The list goes on. Unfortunately as a sane person who uses logic, I am forced to consider one of two possibilities. 1) the secret service is grossly incompetent. 2) The secret service is complicit with this assassination attempt.

The Secret Service was sloppy to not have taken a better view of the venue & covered all the nearby rooftops within the vicinity. FJB, had to force himself to say what he had to say, it wasn’t a voluntary statement & heartfelt. It happened so quickly I had to watch it over 3 times to make sure exactly what I saw... He was speaking ..He stopped speaking touched the side of his head looked at his hand and nose dived to the side on the ground... When secret service picked him up you can see a stream of blood across his cheek on the right side of his face. I had to rewind this 3 times to figure out what was happening. He was hit on the rt side. When he touched his right ear with his hand looked at his hand saw blood he dove to the ground cause he knew he was being targeted. The shot seemed to daze him a little bit when he looked at his hand he knew he had been hit that's when he dove to the ground!

Bobby Kennedy did not have Secret Service protection at the time of his death. Before 1968, presidential candidates did not have Secret Service Protection. He had private security at the time of his death. FBI provided protection to him while he was Attorney General.
