She kicks the shit out of most of the clips I've watched from this gig, sick or not. The fact that she was sick and put on this level of performance just gives me that much more respect for her as a musician.

Wow I felt for Cristina the whole way through this. She looked exhausted but still put every last ounce into it and while not sounding as good live as she usually does she was still ten times better than most. Andrea carried her through this performance in my opinion. They're a great team

I agree so much, I also find it funny how some people are like 'who is that guy singing? he sucks!' and I'm like 'O.O?! He doesn't suck, he's awesome...that band wouldn't be complete if he wasn't there.' I love the band's energy and interaction with one another, it's awe inspiring. While I am a big fan of Evanescence, Lacuna Coil has always been higher up on the totem pole of best bands for me :)

Cristina's accent is so cute. They sound pretty damn good live. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Christina+Andrea= Lacuna Coil Christina- Andrea= Nothing They need to sing together. Christina is talented and so is Andrea. It is the duet that makes them sound amazing.

I wouldn't say Cristina without Andrea is nothing. Cristina without Andrea is Cristina. She is an amazing vocalist by herself, but Lacuna Coil is not complete without Andrea.

Everyone has a bad day...when performing live, shit happens and sometimes you have a stretch where you are just wore the hell out....maybe this was one of those stretches...heard them sound great live before...

look, idk why but if some videos of a band suck, dont always believe them. i watched live videos of lacuna coil and all that remains and thought they didnt sound to good. then i went to a concert with them in it, and they both sounded amazing! so dont just watch the videos! actually go see them and then judge them!

I love Cristina, and they are my absolute favorite band, which is why I feel comfortable saying...she fucked those verses up when she went that low! O_O" I couldn't make out the lyrics, and since the verse doesn't call for a whole lot of flexibility, all I heard was "rrrrr hurrrurrr". Can't remember if it was at this gig, but Cristina had been sick & was still trying to recover from food poisoning when she did this, so she wasn't in top form & that would explain their not so great performance...but still, they're always awesome, and Andrea always sound 100 times better live.

@LukCPL From what I have read and seen from their live performances they don't always use 7. But they do use Baritone guitars about 90% of the time. Though I have seen them use some traditional guitars tuned WAY down and they use REALLY heavy gage strings. I was in a cover band for a while and when we did their songs we just had Traditional Electrics with a special set up. We used so lighter gage strings from Bass string sets. That helped us get the monster low tone without sounding all rumbly.

I was wondering if she was sick or losing her voice because as a fan and I'll be a hundred percent honest: these particular Graspop performances were awful. She sounded great in the beginning but it just went bad from there. Cristina has gotten better singing, if anyone has checked out their Wacken 09' performances, she and Andy improved a lot.

yea that is true.....they can sing them but it's just hard to hear over everything else and especially Amy who runs around too much on stage. At least Cristina stands still long enough to do certain parts of the songs correctly. Amy runs around too much & it effects her singing cuz she's inhaling before every line. Amy sounds better at the piano & when she doesn't sing a line, run to the other side of the stage then sing the next line. I prefer Ev on the album instead of live with most songs.

This concert has always been my favorite. Cri looks gorgeous and puts on a kick ass performance. But I have always hated the editing. All the freaky stuttering cuts and color effects. The editing distracts from the performance and the music. But the music, is that some good shit or what?

it sounds like this song might be a little too low for her. shes great when it gets higher but the low parts arent too great. no disrespect to her though. im a singer too and i know what a pain in the ass it can be to try to sing out of your range.
