I see Cristina in the early 2000's and it feels like I've known her for a lifetime! Wow, I still can't believe it's been 17 years since I listened to their music for the first time. I remember myself watching Heaven's a Lie and Swamped music videos and thinking: I will never meet them face to face, I will never listen to them LIVE as they're not known enough here in Argentina. I used to dream about it... (I still remember those dreams!). But 4 years later (2010) they announced a South American tour and Argentina was included. I couldn't believe it. I was in shock. From seeing their videoclips and messaging Cristina through MySpace 😂 to see them finally LIVE!!!! It was the biggest dream of my life atm. It became true. I couldn't be more grateful. Then in 2012, 2013, 2017 and 2020 I had the chance to share few moments with them all like we were friends. They're the greatest human beings I've ever met in my life. I'm thankful with you guys for making our dreams come true. I love you forever. Hugs from Argentina 🇦🇷

this album changed my life. I met the band at the time of karmacode and looking at the band's older work I came across comalies, which for me is in the top 10 albums of my life. the best part was seeing the evolution of the gap coil over the years, keeping its essence while bringing more modern elements to the sound. No doubt Gap Coil has aged very well as a band.

Man, I gotta say it's great to see more of Maki's influence behind the scenes here. Cristina and Andrea are usually the spokespeople for the band in interviews so it's really cool to see the whole creative process more. Great how Maki always wants it to be just right! And all the goofy moments too XD

Even though I was first introduced to your band with the song "Our Truth" which really hooked me, what made me a huge fan was Comalies and how different it was and how it was similar in a way to Evanescence which was/is still one of my favorite bands at the time. You guys have inspired me since the mid 2000s, helping me establish who I am as a writer and as a person. Even the older albums before Comalies, I find to be very inspiring especially Unleashed Memories, which is probably one of my favorite albums of yours. I love to see how you grow as a band and produce such amazing songs that just gets me super excited to write and to enjoy life. So thank you so much for everything you've done and I'm so glad you are still creating music. Comalies and Comalies XX are amazing albums that I will cherish always.

I went to college from 2006-2009 and you we’re playing at the university of Calgary in Alberta and you were selling tickets at the door for $25 canadian back then and me and my buddies were too worried about getting girls back then and we went into the university bar instead of going to your show. I regret that all the time now that I have discovered you and I absolutely love your music. I was a dumb teenager at the time haha

I remember the INSTANT I became a fan of Lacuna Coil. First time I played through Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, at the end credits, I got hit with Swamped. I say "hit", because that was the effect Cristina's voice had on me. It still has that effect on me, almost 20 years later. My wife's first concert, was Lacuna Coil, Megadeth, and Rob Zambie in 2014. I told her she is playing the version of A Tout Le Monde Cristina did with Megadeth at my funeral.

The remake is awesome!
