Weird thing, I used to drive for Uber/Lyft a lot, and most of my passengers were under the age of 30ish and hand just moved to the area less than 2 years ago. And by a lot, I mean a lot. Most came for school and decided to stay. So 1 would assume that a lot of people who live in Philly now may not know what jawn means 😱. I know, it's dreadful to even think about. Jawn is as Philly as cheesesteaks, water (wader, and I do say it like that around relaxed company) ice, and the Liberty Bell! Without out jawn, there is no Philly, there is no Liberty Bell!
