Sometimes it’s very difficult for a woman ( or man) to get out of a abusive relationship , a controlling and abusive person has a way of putting a fear in you so terrible that you’re afraid of the consequences of leaving. Death threats , threats that he will hurt your family, many different reasons. I just pray for people in abusive relationships that they find a way out and very importantly get any support they need. Dave mentions Leslie on one of his other tracks on this album and says he based Leslie on a relative.

@@NTSxJAI Yup, abusive relationships come in all shapes and sizes. Most the time domestic abuse is suffered silently. Affecting not just 'a type' of person. All good, best part of Dave's music is that it gets you thinking from a different perspective :)
