I have used the same face wash and same face cream for 45 years. I can not have any scented items in my house, I'm allergic. I would never put ink into my skin. I don't buy into any advertising that sells all these beauty products, hair products.... I like keeping it simple.

Selfcare can be really important I am diagnosed with autism and I researched a bunch about skincare and the ingredients and Korean skincare changed my life, have I over bought ? Yes definitely! At the start I was super excited to improve my skin but now I have found stuff I know works for my skin I may add the odd product into my routine, makeup is another story but that's cos it's pretty 😂😭

Products are like toys. We want more, more, more! With beauty, we want to feel perfect. When we see a new product, we wonder if it'll help with whatever blemishes we think we have. Most of those products was probably helpful/enjoyable for someone. But that doesn't mean it'll be helpful to you. With toys, we buy more and more toys. We want to be rich. Thinking it'll make us happy..... No it won't! Women often think if they look perfect, it'll give them better self esteem and attract those things that will make them happy..... No it won't!

I will point out one thing about the skin care routine. Acne (aka pimples) correlates with how oily ones skin is. With oily skin, every bit of dust sticks right on! one swipe of the hand pushes it into the pores. I found out, at a young age, the more oily your skin, the more you have to wash. I had to wash 5 times per day to keep from having pimples. Some people can get away with washing once per week!

Honestly as an adult who understands a lot of these perfection based self care videos are for views, I just scroll past and keep moving. But it really is scary to me that young people are growing up in with unfettered access to the internet and may learn to believe this level of consumption and altering your appearance is normal and necessary. Especially while young.

Very educational... my gosh please stop waving your hands in front of the camera. You can't stop moving. Maybe by a microphone. Honestly it's enough for people to not want to sub.
