So there are many MNCs operating like Mcdonalds, kfc, ikea etc. They have got a new metro and monorail. There has been a construction boom and glass towers have sprouted up in the southern areas of the city.

That means they are still poor and living with an increased population after 45 years. All these images might seem exotic to your eyes, camera and instagram and many Western people romanticize over it but this is hard core poverty you are looking at.
