With the amount of spaghetti and time they have here to give the Tramp and his Lady a romantic atmosphere, it's most likely they either arrived before opening or a quiet hour near the end of the night. What a beautiful scene

Probably near the end. If you looked at the part where Tramp and Lady approached, you saw the restaurant was still quite lit and you could hear people in the background chatter away.

When Lady looks up at the stars after the kiss with her eyes full of happiness, it warms my heart and makes me smile; it’s so sweet. I love this movie - beautiful, classic animation.

It's still a part of my childhood, regardless. I used to have it on VHS when I was six or seven years old, and I was born in 2003.

@@SheWolf_Warrior I was born in 2002, and I remember watching the movie on dvd. And now that I have Disney plus, I pretty much watch the movies from my childhood on there now. The same with Pinocchio, the dvd for that didn’t work anymore so threw that away

I saw the 30th-anniversary re-issue when I was 9 years old, and this became one of my favorite songs. About eleven or twelve years ago, I was in a variety show with my local performing arts group, and our theme had been Disney Princesses. This was one of the songs in the show, and I was part of the small group singing this song.

Meatballs didn't even exist in Italy at the time this movie takes place - spaghetti and meatballs didn't become a thing until Italian immigrants came to America where they could afford meat. So Tony and Joe are probably some of the first people to try this recipe.
