Yes. Historical, a “where were you when?” moment. As for the critics here, who find this boring, hate the song, hate both performances, hate Bradley’s voice, etc, they lack trhat refined sense of aesthetic that is required to appreciate this performance as a whole, the direction of the sequence, audience as the backdrop intentionally lit with amber light, shot from rear stage, moving the piano stage front, that first strum of guitar, their entrance from the audience, details used as building blocks to create a story that absorbs the viewer in emotion before they uttered a single note, There lies the brilliance. It’s either that or they are just cold hearted cynics who lack the emotional sensitivity to allow music to act as a conduit to their feelings, happy, sad, joy, pain, they just don’t want to go there. It's obvious Bradley & Lady Gaga seriously bonded during this movie & I don't mean in an inappropriate way. You can actually feel the truly pure love for each other when they sing. This is so rare that souls actually sync & bond like this. It truly is an absolutely beautiful thing. These two will be extremely close friends for life now. I wish I had just one moment like this in my 47y.

@@dickezwiebel4564 Yeah...using both of your hands and foot while keeping tune vocally...not easy. Only drums and string instruments guitar, bass, violin etc... are more difficult essentially. Not counting brass or woodwind instruments of course.

@@Saphy_Bagel I was only refering to the piano, since it isnt a hard instrument in comparison to string, wind and percussion instruments, which make up a great part of instruments. And to play the shallow backround is frankly easy. Dont get me wrong, singing and playing piano is ofc harder, but the piano is definetly not "one of the most difficult instruments".

I watch this performance at least once a week. It never gets old. Sometimes it brings tears to my eyes. I’m so grateful that we get to listen to such masters who clearly love what they are doing. First saw the Stones 50 years ago at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City with The Eagles. Like fine wine, they have gotten better with age. This performance will go down as one of the best from any era any genre. ❤️♾

I think the ending is what has made the film so realistic, it’s sadly more common for that-level alcoholics to die then to get sober :/

30 year old man here. First heard her in High School. She just gets better and better, I'll never be ashamed admitting I love her talent. She is palatable to everyone. And Bradley Cooper has a phenomenal voice! Its real. Not a huge fan of the film, but wow this song is divinely inspired.

Seriously? I mean, she's in a relationship with an actor, a performer, and a good one at that. She knows she gets to go home with him, hold him, be with him, almost every single day. Would it be right for her to expect him to act completely disinterested here? I'd say if their love is true, she's be incredibly proud of his performance here.

The love expressed with this performance hits me so hard, to this very day. Even as I sit in 2024, laying in my bed well past noon, the power of emotion expressed in this song hits me like a freight train, and bring tears to my eyes; even as I sing along, it's hard to not choke up. We are all, in so many ways, very far from the shallows. If, in years to come, this song is lost in the shuffle of the tides of time, let me still feel the lack.

Incredible moment. Bradley Cooper did very well, especially for a non professional singer. But Laga Gaga went Inter-Galactic Level. Nobody has a voice equal to hers.

@@justiceforartpop6600 This is a better way of putting it, Gaga has a unique voice. But it's not neccesarily better than others. I think P!NK, xtina, and Kelly Clarkson could match her. But each of them have very distinctive voices. And of course Whitney and Celine are better than her but they can't match her sound.

@@Guitarisforgrins She’s certainly the best vocally in her specific field as of right now in my opinion, definitely the most versatile. The only other current artists that seems to be on her level now would be Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, JHud, Adele, Rihanna and Beyoncé too. Each of them make completely different music, have their own distinctive voice and their own styles. Ariana with the whistle tones that could honestly hold to up to Mariah at her peak, Miley with the raspy rock style, Jennifer/Adele with the soul and Beyoncé/Ri with r&b vocals.

Tore Livia was the Steadicam Op on this, he is the best in the industry. No arguments about it. He does all the big crucial shows when the moving shot needs to be perfect and he always delivers
