Being a geek, I recorded today's EAS test. I was curious to see what format it would take... and if anything amusing would happen. DirecTV did not disappoint.

Maybe. But if they want to keep to the scary theme while still staying musical try heavy metal. That’s good music but if it plays by surprise, you’re out of your seat.

I'm siting in front of the tv waiting for this to come... Me: Okay here we go, it's 2pm! (tv changes, this shows up and plays the song) Me: Okay, this is as strange as a normal test. Something unexpected has happened again and im starting to question this whole system now. (test goes to normal annoying alert tone) Me: Okay, what's the EAN message? (tv plays moar song) Me: Yeah, thats great. We turn to the FCC for help and the national emergency is Lady Gaga's song is more popular now. AWESOME!!
