Very nice. Love the new and varied camera angles. Not enough truck drivers get out and double-check the height of the trailer they are going to back under and connect to. You did everything by the book. Impressive.

You're doing very well excellent job one thing i do is release my Airlines before I unhook my Kingpin on flat ground it doesn't matter so much but one to remember if you're ever unhooking on a slight gradient keep on Truckin👍👍

So the procedure I use is disconnect airlines, lower landing gear, chock tires, pull pin... I like how the 5th wheel air is on a seperate control rather than a button on our truck. Very informative video!

Here in America a lot of us like to lower the legs to just barely off the ground or until the just touch it then dump the air/lower chassis then pull out. That way when you hook up you dump air, get under it, raise chassis back up, then hook up that way the legs are easy to raise. 👍

Nice to see a SCANIA driver who has some for thought and lifts the air suspension to the max to detatch the trailer so when a volvo or a daf driver tries to attach it they have so lower it on the legs as this really pisses them off. Love your accent in ENGLISH i think its sexy.

A couple years ago I visit my uncle. Never met him first time meeting him. In Germany. Come to find out he owns a trucking company. I've been driving tractor trailer for 29 years in the United States. The trucks you guys have over there sure is different.

I've always wondered how the air brakes work on these European trucks and trailers compared to what we have here in the US. I know here in the states our trucks have a valve for the tractor parking brakes as well as a separate valve to supply the trailer with air where as the European trucks seem to use a single valve for both the tractor and the trailer from what I've seen.

I'm a truck driver in the U.S.A and just a FYI, in the U.S.A they're called "landing gears." Anyway I wonder if trucking in Europe is as stringent and heavily regulated as it is in the U.S? In the U.S we are only allowed to work 70 hours within 8 days. Next, we must take a 30 minute DOT break before hitting the 8 hour mark within 11 hours of drive time. Also I see that you're drinking a Munster energy drink! I love them, I drink them every now and then, my favorite is the "paradise" very tasty and flavorful. Also your dog is absolutely adorable.

Cassie why do you lift the back wheels of your cab unit when most raise the angle of the trailer and adjust it when its locked in place? Is it just the Swedish Way or a Scania modification?

Another Great Video. Love the pooch, still freaks me out how you all drive in your socks over there. All our adjusting is done with the dollies ( trailer legs) here, no air adjust on our trucks. Keep up the great work!!! Your English is great, so don't worry :)

Why you raise the trailer so high? When i loose/change trailer, i low the support axle, then lift rear of the truck 5-10cm, then trailers legs to ground, then low truck littlebit and drive it forward less than half meter and then disconnect the hoses and cables..

Good vid but why raise suspension before dropping trailer, once that trailer is loaded you won't be able to lift it to take pressure off the landing legs

They usually sag a little bit, and they will drop down into the landing gears. Tractors in Europe can easily raise a loaded trailer. It's easier to raise into a trailer than not being able to even get under it.

Never ever pull the pin girl before dropping your suzies an air lines or putting trailer park brake. Never! Always the first thing when coupling is to check truck coupled to trailer properly then check the safety clip on! An always the last thing to do is release the pin when dropping off the trailer!
