This beautiful song was written by Rolf Lovland. Arr. for pedal harp by Kitty Leung. A couple of years ago we filmed in the magical Deepwood gardens and at the time I only shared one piece from that dreamy day, Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Here is, Song from a Secret Garden.

Here I am again my dear Bonnie to walk in this beautiful garden, guided by the melodious sound of your harp, and your magnificent interpretation of this musical jewel of Rolf Lovland. I love flowers and the harp, so I'm overwhelmed by this double gift you offer here. There is in your interpretation and in your video a great serenity which is good when my country is experiencing a wave of violence which pains me. Thank God, music is our Secret Garden, and you made me spend a delicious moment, very aesthetic in every sense of the word, because you look very pretty in your white dress with blue flowers. Thank you Rod, this is one of my top favourite ones. I did mean to share it sooner but didn't want too share to close to Somewhere over the Rainbow since the videos look similar. Also Phil Barrilliez had shared a beautiful cover of this piece on classical guitar right after we had filmed this and I didn't want to share to close. Then I got busy and forgot. All said it is still one of my favourite pieces of music of all time. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Oh Bonnie this song is soo beautiful on the concert harp. I wish I could have another pedal harp they are soo rich in sound compared to lever harps. I truly miss my Salvi Diana. You play beautifully. Question do you have any issues with your right ear being sensitive to the harp strings? Mine hurt when I play I have to put tissue in my right ear sometimes . I’m assuming it’s from playing all these years.

Thank you Laurie, yes I know what you mean on some harps! However this old Salvi Sinfonietta is very quiet on my ears. It took a little adjusting for me because it is almost too quiet for some music...but I do really love it - compared to the Salvi Minerva for example which to me is perfection, I have played 3 in person and loved all of them and listened to many videos to compare and that would be a dream harp for me. One day 💘 I love your new little harp, that is a dreamy instrument and you play it beautifully 💖

I have that issue with my violin - Loop Earplugs do a hollow ring plug that really helped take the edge off, without damping the sound so I can practice till my fingers bleed, not my ears. 😅 Might be worth a look?
