Saw them live back in 2015 during their first tour in Europe. They literally only had one song during that time and played it like 3 times. Also one of the girls was not able to attend the tour for whatever reason. Was a really weird experience. At least the band that opened the show that evening was sick af. They are a German Metalcore Band named Scargot. Barely known but damn good

Think you're extremely late, Ladybaby went to "Formerly known as Ladybaby" when ladybeard left, then Rei Left and formed BRATS with her sister and some others, then "Formerly known as Ladybaby" went back to being Ladybaby with three new band members with Rie and later disbanded, BRATS I think is still going, last I heard they were in the USA, but that was some time ago. Ladybeard if I recall later went to Deadlift Lolita with a female Bodybuilder (Reika Saiki) (honestly great vocals, Pump up Japan is great) then later went on to form a new "Ladybaby" band, I don't recall the name, but again it's 2 girls and himself

This was the first vid I saw of them and didn't have a clue on how I felt about it myself. I got to like it and searched out some of their other stuff and became a big fan. After Ladybeard left they got a couple more girls and IMO are one of the best and one of my favs. Watch something from their last live show in Jan of 2020 Ladybaby Live at the Liquidroom.

His names Ladybeard, an Aussie thats been into crossdressing for many years, and pursued stuntwork early on which took him to Hong Kong, got plenty of work, but eventually got into wrestling, where he became super popular by taking the crossdressing man gimmick of "Ladybeard" in a business where every other wrestler was the same as each other. After a time he left for Japan to wrestle, then go approached by a producers to do this Ladybaby with a couple of Idol girls after the literal EXPLOSION of popularity of Babymetal and the genre of 'Kawaiimetal'. They didnt last long, but he has recently been working on a new group and album with another pair of Idols, so something similar should be coming out fairly soon.

He is trying to revive the "Ladybaby" magic with the similar project "BABYBEARD".

I love Ladybaby though. There are three incarnations of this group btw. Nippon Manju is basically an ad for the store they are running around, but it is catchy as hell. "Pinky! Pinky!" for a cool song from the second incarnation. "HATEN NI RAIMEI" for a cool song from their final incarnation. If you want more of their songs with Ladybeard, try "Age-Age Money" or "Renge Chance!"

Novelty metal in japan is good, but honestly pound for pound Ningen Isu is probalbly my favorite. They have been around forever and still rock. Colour out of space is one of my favorites by them, heartless scat is pretty great to. I think ya'll would enjoy the style of their music and their personal style too.

I have seen this video before but that one had english subtitles. You should react to the awesome J-rock band "Maximum the hormone" one of my favorite songs are "Zetsubou Billy" which is a soundtrack for Death Note. The quality of the video on youtube is quite bad though.
