Expansive Worlds put out a CLUE as to the location of the new map that should be coming out sometime in June in The Hunter Call of the Wild! Very soon! Gharial, gaur, yak, tiger, rhino, leopard, bear, wolf, dhole, red panda, fox, jackal, kiang, nilgai, water buffalo, hyena, sloth bear, muntjac, pika, blackbuck, sambar deer, hog deer, axis deer, musk deer, goral, tahr, loads of species of duck, geese and pheasant, flamingos, loads of turtle species, snakes would be interesting to see aswell. Nepal will be a map packed with wildlife whatever they do with it. Hopefully they add ambient wildlife to it aswell, like butterflies, bats, lizards etc similar to the birds in layton lakes. Looking forward to this map

Nepal could be interesting. There are actually two leopard species, a couple of primates, Himalayan black bear, and all the ones mentioned in this video. There are also Pheasants and partridges. Gharial (A type of Crocodile) , Hyaena, Pangolin, Grey Wolf, Water Buffalo

I want elephants in the game so bad. But I feel like it'd only be fair if elephants had a mechanic where if they feel threatened, they'll charge you, and if you get trampled, you get knocked out instantly rather than taking damage. It'd make hunting elephants quite a challenge, but also quite fun!

Actually we have tons of Muntjac deer in the UK too. Most hunters come to England just for a trophy Muntjac buck. :D

I would love a Great One Rhino, Elephant or a Tiger but I would probably prefer a Elephant because I think they would be more majestic and Stand out more.( And also I’m sorry about how I have been writing my comments at the end of them saying From Max I’m sorry about that I was thinking it kind of like a normal conversation but it’s not. 2 other species would be gaur. It is like a big muscular buffalo or bantang. Gharial are like caiman, but with really long snouts.

It looks like Nepal has a hunting reserve called Dhorpatan and I bet they will follow what animals are on there. Including black bear, wolves, a couple different types of pheasants, red pandas are listed as a hunted species (that would be really interesting), goral, serow, along with several listed in your video. It will be interesting to see what kind of level 9 animal they would put in

If this is the map we are getting, I hope we get a gun like a 50 cal. I would also like a huge trophy lodge, elephants, and rhinos. I think hunting endangered species on hunter call of the wild is no big deal. The snow leopard would be awesome and hard to find and would be fun to hunt. The wild hog would be a good great one.

Oh hot damn, a new map soon! My nose has been in way of the hunter lately, still lurking their Matariki park map for that 5 star New Zealand Red Deer trophy. It makes sense that they'd have chosen Nepal after WotH released Matariki Park with Tahr. A bit of healthy competition between the two companies. As for endangered animals, yeah, you're right, we are just shooting pixels, am surprised that PETA hasn't tried shaming Expansive Worlds yet with digital hunting. Must not be big name enough and flies under their radar, a silver lining I suppose. I know I've been wanting a Montana Map or northern map that includes wild mustangs as a huntable species. I've been begging for Zebra forever and a day, just an equine species to hunt in these games is a dream of mine. Feels iffy to have endangered species as a huntable species, but they are just that, pixels. It'd be groovy if EW donated a percentage of their earnings to the WWF fund or another similar charity.

Himalayas ........the next GO is a Yeti! They could get an Elephant in the lodge by making it Head Mount Only. I can't remember ever seeing a full body mount elephant in any hunting setting.

I agree with you that the new great one will be wild boar since the last two map releases had the new great one on them. When black bear came our for the great one they had it narrowed down to black bear, wild boar, or coyote. So they've probably wanted to do wild boar for a while now. Today's ew stream should be interesting

/apparently/ red fox can also be found in nepal, and they're the only predator species from hirsh, so if they're sticking to the same pattern they have so far, that's the only species they technically could do next. ( 2 antler species and 1 predator from each base game map ) i feel like wild boar would make sense but they're a scavenger, not technically a true predator, but who knows maybe its just antlered species and non-antlered species, boars could technically fit into that even tho their score affects tusk size similar to antlers.

I'm definitely banking on a Nepal/India map after this tease and the muntjac tease found in the survey earlier this year. And sorry to burst any bubbles, but if EW is planning on keeping their huntable animals as animals you can legally hunt in real life we will never get tigers, snow leopards, indian rhinos, or indian elephants. We COULD get leopards, white rhinos, and african elephants in an Africa 2.0 map potentially though. If we're still getting Great Ones on non dlc map I'm also banking on Wild Boar since they'll also probably be on the new Central Asia map.

I’d say red fox will be the next great one because we only have 1 predator great one and they have a drink zone unlike wild boar

Oddly enough Uganda has a fair amount of people who speak Hindi. Another option would be Bangledesh. Both options have elephants with Uganda having the African forest elephant (though bordering countries have the bush elephant aswell), and Bangledesh having the Asiatic elephant. I feel if the main new species was an Asiatic elephant without introducing the bengal tiger people would be underwhelmed. If it was Uganda there is the potential for atleast one if not BOTH types of African elephant, Nile crocodiles (as they inhabit more than just the nile), the return of Lions, jackels, hyenas, cheetahs, the shoebill stork, Mountain gorillas (controversial for sure but its a game and elephants would have a similar issue), Cape buffalo, Black/white Rhinos, Hippos (!), Zebras, and least but certainly not least Giraffes! Thats not to mention numerous venomous snakes, because if they made this map EVERYTHING wants to kill you aside from maybe the shoebill! While I highly doubt this to be the case, there are really only a couple of recognizable animals from other countries that speak Hindi. I would like to think if they put so much effort into a map and new animals that will supposedly blow our minds that it would be more than just tigers, asian elephants, and then some other random things (Gharial come to mind). I feel that an Africa 2.0 would be a HUGE boost to the game (its what everyone has wanted for quite some time afterall) and would let them donate a portion of sales to conservation of Rhinos/Gorillas.

I just hope the map is not a big jungle, as I really don't like hunting in dense maps. Wish it was Central Asia instead, Kazakhstan or Mongolia, but if it's the Tibetan border part of Nepal it will be cool!

Can someone tell me if they fixed the problem of animals not spawning back when u're grinding for a GO? Like i was grinding for a GO moose in revontuli and my moose just stopped spawning. Cause i really want to come to this game, but if they didn't fix that i wont :(

Muntjac are in England. I see them daily here. Probably a British map. Some Species' Red Deer Chinese Water Deer Roe Deer Muntjac Red Fox Badger A large variety of woodland birds.

If it is UK based. Maybe just Maybe Roe Deer is the new Great One because it's the UKs most common deer. Just my guess. I see Roe Deer regularly and in large numbers on my walks. Sweet little things are always popping their heads out of the long grass or crops in the fields. They are pretty tame and you can get within 40-50 meters of them. Just don't act weird around them or they'll soon run 😂

If EW doesn’t want to touch species you can hunt legally like African elephants, they won’t put animals you can’t hunt at all legally. The only way I see us getting a tiger is just one man eater. Map will probably just be a very mountainous with it being similar to cuatro just with snow.

You can not hunt europian bison in moust places in the world (in Poland wher I'm from it is even illigal to disturb them) and yet they are in the game (stil hope they would get grate one some thay), there is nothing wrong with hunting wirtual animals

Is they are going to put elephants and rhinos in the game, which to me would be too easy to hunt, they should make them super aggressive. Not the typical ones that charge you and run around you in circles once they get there till you can shoot them, but have them come straight at you or jump out of the trees/bushes as you walking by.. so what if you get killed and have to respawn now and then.. I enjoy some, WTF was that, moments. Lol

Ima say boar 100% but I think we should start breaking into new great ones most people who grind buy DLCs anyway and I get great ones can be super lucky spawns from only one kill but usually that’s not the case so I think they should def put maybe two great ones at a time maybe one dlc and one non dlc and see how it works

Just a bit of help on the pronunciations. Pronounced "Nep - all" and "Munt - jack" Muntjac are an invasive species in the uk, can be hunted all year and in infinite numbers

Aren't ALL of the " big 5 " species endangered tho? I can see them being fine with one or two but having a big number of animals on one map being endangered species doesn't sound right to me, i feel like they'd try to avoid that. literally all of them would be fun animals to hunt tho, and snow leopard and tigers are my most wanted animals to be added to the game.

I would absolutely love to have endangered species in the game because like you said, We’re not hunting those animals in real life or hurting them, we’re just hunting them in a game. So if we’re able to hunt an elephant or a rhino would be awesome!!!
