I just love it when you shop there!! The shop always has some very lovely items!! Excellent price's.. I saw a few things I'd have to purchase before I left! Always a favorite the chinoiserie!! I spotted what I think was a rabbit casserole or something on top shelf but you didn't get to that part. I wish I was alot closer.. I was in Houston once. Very nice area. I must have gone to MAM the same day or shortly after because I purchased some of the items in this video. Definitely one of my favorites thrift stores. I bought one of the large blue and white vases that was on the top shelf behind the elephant and the large chinoiserie planter. A couple people were following me around hoping I’d put it back. At $175 it was still a much better price than the usual $500 at antique shops. An unusual piece. Thanks for sharing your expertise and taking us along all these great places to shop in the Houston area. ❤

Everything you showed I loved I would of came out with so much more LOL ( I have to tell you this I went to a yard sale yesterday and a lady said she had a ugly ornament some one gave her). She had it still in the box, my heart was pounding it was The Sea horse from Waterfords Collection The wonderful thing was I got it for 2 dollars ! Loved this episode.

I recognized immediately the Spode Trapnell teacup! I acquired a complete service of that china recently and it is not easy to find. Stunningly beautiful and looks like it was never used.

I accidentally found your channel and was so surprised to find you at MAM, one of my favorite places in Houston to shop for thrifted items. The boutique has great items of clothes and jewelry and in the regular clothes section also has great things. As an artist, I have found many wonderful items for my assemblage sculpture. What a wonderful resale store, there were so many things I wanted. Unfortunately I don't live near a great resale or antique store as I had in Atlanta, Dallas and Denver in the past. I have found some great finds in my local goodwill, on Friday I found a solid brass buffet lamp for $6.99 and after a very good cleaning and new light socket it is really a lovely piece in my dining room butler server. Hope you have a blessed week, can't wait until next time.

We do not have thrift stores in England like you show us in America......beautiful stuff. If I win the lottery I will come over and rummage to my hearts content........... Some of our charity shops are greedy with their prices and sometimes the same item can be bought elsewhere, full price and new 😮 Antigue stores are out of my range as much as I love them. Hello LMBeth, I looked up some places of interest for wedgewood. I know you are knowledgeful and probably been on line, but the suggestions that I found were the, LONDON SILVER VAULTS, CAMBDEN PASSAGE ANTIQUE MARKET, PORTOBELLO ROAD MARKET, on line were PRELOVED, and WEDGEWOOD and ROYAL DOULTON OUTLET store. I do not have a working computer, but use a small Galaxy tablet, not so easy to look things up like I used to......I sincerely hope you enjoy your holiday here and manage to find what you are looking for. I always enjoy your videos. Maybe that painted piece of furniture you said was from the late 80s was dated 90. With the larger 9 and small 0 and the swoosh of her signature , made it look like 99. That's what I thought. Love it anyway!

I recently purchased a cut glass wine decanter for $5.00 from a thrift store and wondered if you had any suggestions for "sterilizing" it? Had you thought about doing a video on the care of glass and crystal items? Loved the MAM video. They always have gorgeous items at good prices!

Lots of great buys! Don't like that they use a black marker to price things, it can soak into pottery items and you can't get it out.

I agree with you on that. So far, I have been able to remove prices rather easily. The only exception is when they write directly on the Vera Bradley fabric. Have to pass on those deals.

I use sterling silver rimmed lemon dishes a lot. No problem, as long as you do not store in these. Mostly sits on the glass.

Apparently you received theowners permission to advertise what they have....they will love the attention this brings to their store (which is fine) but because of what you said on the pricing....they will learn to up their prices....then making it unaffordable for those of us who might have had a chance to purchase something nice😢❤
