She's so cool, the way shes basically the opposite of Superman in nearly every way, a lot younger, more playful and wide-eyed and hot-headed, but also has the opportunity for so many interesting plot points like being trained by the Amazons and being essentially the second most powerful being on earth despite how young and inexperienced she is. Hope we see more of her done by the animation teams at DC, they know how to turn incredible potential into amazing characters. Live-action just can't compete with the mastery of the people that make these animated shows.

Supergirl just appears to be younger. She's actually the older cousin: she was sent to earth at the same time but was stuck in space for a certain amount of time.

@@oreoqueen7372 yes but I believe she was in some sort of stasis where she didn't age during her long trip around the galaxy before ending up on earth, so she was born first but is actually younger, hence her late teens-early 20s look

@@thedarkroom6416 she was born first yes, but she didn't age during her trip from krypton. So she was the older cousin, but is now significantly younger than superman. Thats why in most versions she's relatively young compared to the man of steel, all those years in the stars asleep and not aging.

the comic book had the funnest line in it at the end of the story ALL the heroes are on the Island except one and (i think) Kyle Ryaner (Green Lantern) tells the Flash "if we all die right now Plastic man becomes the most powerful hero on earth"

I agree with That. When I first Watched “DC Animated Feature: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse”. I Fell in💙with Her. I absolutely💙how Hot & Beautiful She looks. I Have a Loving-Crush on This Supergirl. I mean Look at Her. 2:28,😍😍. Such a Beautiful “Super” Girl. I mean wow🥰😍😘❤️💕💗2:57-3:05, I’m in💙so Much. There’s already a DCEU Supergirl in “The Flash” movie. I’m Bringing in a Different Supergirl in the DC Universe in a Titans film. My Supergirl is a Titan Member. She has This Same Exact Supergirl Design. Has this Same Suit/Hairstyle. Just Picture her Suit 9:09 in Purple, Instead of Blue. I💙this Animated-Design of SuperGirl So Much. She’s So Beautiful & Gorgeous. The Other Suoergirl Designs from “Superman: Unbound” & “Legion of Superheroes” looks alright. But I absolutely Prefer this Beautiful Design of SuperGirl. She’s So Gorgeously-Beautiful in Superman/Batman: Apocalypse. I💙her,😘😍🥰.

@@agente9988 well at first they weren't, first Batwoman was created (I think it was around the 60s) as a love interest for Batman to show people that Batman and Robin are not gay (because at this time some people thought that it was True) so dc created Batwoman but she didn't become popular character so she we didn't saw her that much in the comics, The irony is that she apperad once again in 2000s but they madd few changes like making her a cousin of Bruce and also being lesbian

This movie is very nostalgic for me. I saw it as a kid and it’s always been very memorable, in fact it was probably my first introduction to Supergirl and as first impressions go she wasn’t that bad. In this film she was wide eyed and curious, but still young and somewhat immature and she grows into her own by the end. This laid the groundwork for me of seeing other great versions of the character like in Justice League Unlimited, Injustice 2, the CW tv show, and I even liked her in the Flash movie. She’s honestly become one of my favorite superheroines and I think she is very under appreciated these days. Also the beat down she and Superman give Darkseid in this movie is awesome!!

One of the best DC movies imo. With a good depiction of Kara trying to find a place on earth, Superman having a family member and wanting to protect her, Batman ever so cautious with kyptonians, Wonder Woman being that big sister/mentor to Kara and seeing her being ready to fight like her cousin, Darkseid being very terrifyingly strong, Apokilips itself being terrifying, and Big Barda being a badass

I don’t care which which movie is better Superman/Batman: Public Enemies the sequel Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, I love them both. I enjoy Jeph Loeb’s work on DC and Marvel comics. He did an excellent job reintroducing Supergirl to the DC Universe after she died in Crisis On Infinite Earths. Superman/Batman: Apocalypse Blu-Ray is officially on my Christmas wishlist this year, just like when I got Justice League: The New Frontier on Blu-Ray, another DC animated movie I love.

Realistic? I don't think so. Kara adapted to Earth culture way to seamlessly. She was acting like a typical teenage human girl as opposed to a distraught being from a completely alien planet with a different method of measuring age and time. Even the foreigners on our planet wouldn't be acting this way.

Supposedly Kryptonian women are stronger than the men when exposed to sunlight. Over time, she'll be stronger than Superman. Superman only has a temporary edge since he's been exposed to Earth's sun for a longer time. Kara also acclimated far more quickly than he did, but he didn't have a Kryptonian and "Grumpy" to advise him. She also has Amazonian training.

@@user-rf8ho2ng7y maybe not, but it has been confirmed that Kara is stronger than Clark or will become stronger. Some say it was because she was on krypton longer or something. The only problem is she has problems with control and often is inexperienced in being a superhero.

2:32 turns out, being a earth girl is apparently not that different from being a kryptonian girl 🤣🤣🤣 3:56 To be honest, i think Batman and Wonder Woman were overeacting here, sure the girl need training, but there was no reasons to attack her here or exiled her on Themiscyra. The whole day has been uneventful aside from a few minor accidents. Carl literally learned alone to control his powers, i don't see why Kara couldn't. She literally had her cousin to help her and a entire isolated fortress to train in. That operation was really unnecessary and uncalled for.

This Supergirl is based off her Post Crisis Comic book run from 2005 or so onward. Too bad they never made a follow up movie. In the comics she further has to confront a lingering darkness inside her that... thanks to Lex Luthor, manifests itself as another, evil version of herself. Even after the evil version is defeated she still has lingering dark thoughts she can't fully shake until she finally realizes a god-like being has been testing her up till then who thinks she.. the THIRD iteration of Supergirl in DC comics, is an anomaly that does not deserve to exist. In everything is revealed as to the whys and whats and Supergirl is just glad her trial by fire with her dark but false memories is finally over.

I don't know if it's the animation style, but I actually like that this Supergirl is more "Young Adult" rather than "Teenager" feeling. It's part of what makes the book this is based on feel sort of awkward.

Wonder Woman is legit the one in the right. She did that "kidnapping" to make a point, that Kara needs training to defend herself better and be more independent rather than having Supes by her side 24/7. Supes was being the overprotective cousin until the end of movie

Now i haven't read much new 52 or watched this movie but based on what iv seen and know about new 52 kara it looks like they made kara more of an actual character who despite her trauma and challenges grows to be a good person who does the right thing cus she wants too, rather than the hulk version of kara from new 52 always pissed off

I admit it, when I First Seen the DC Animated Feature: Superman/Batman: Apocalypse. It made me fell in💙with Supergirl. I fell in💙with This Animated-Version of Supergirl. She absolutely looks so Beautiful. Just Look at her 2:28,😍💙. Wow😘🥰2:57. 9:09, Picture that as a Purple-Suit. Instead of Blue. A Purple Supergirl Suit that looks so Perfect for her.

I really hope to see Supergirl in My Adventures With Superman! Let us hope that her origin story is the same as in the comics where she saw her family die on Krypton and was later sent into suspended animation when the blast from Krypton hit her ship and later landed on Earth. In the Supergirl movie, she went to Earth to retrieve an orb that empowers her people's city which feel into the hands of an evil sorceress who summoned a demon to kill her.

When WB makes a Live action movie out of it, then the perfect cast as Kara Zor-el/Supergirl is Laura Diane Vandervoort. She look identical and she did her own stunts. I would love it verry much !
