OMG Im an old man but you made me feel young so much energy, non stop movement, hands so fast its impossible to watch your fingering. You are amazing Lady. I watched you by myself in my living room and stood up and clapped with your audience, Music is magic if done from the heart and youre full of music. It flows in your veins. You know I know how much pratice playing that song over and over again to get it perfect with your eyes closed, yet when you first started the song you were as excited as if you first got it down pat. Practice makes perfect playing over time. My Mom used to say before she passed "It's all in my want to." We can learn anything on KZfaq. There is so much knowledge available to anyone online. But it's really about wanting it bad enough to move you forward.

Girl, you always had the chops; what you needed was the sell. Looks like you found it. Like day and night, this cut and everything else of yours I've heard: brighter tempo, using the whole keyboard, way more agile in the left hand.... this is the stuff right here, and you knew it.

@@SmileyBlue69 I'm no agent but I do know enough about the performing arts to have seen that there is an invisible line, between a skilled performer, and the virtuoso who owns the room before they ever play the first note. There is another video in circulation of five different boogie pianists where she is the first to appear: her playing is correct, musical and enjoyable, but there's something indefinite missing still. The final performer is a German guy playing an electric grand with a room full of people dancing, and he has what she didn't (yet) have: nobody is even really paying attention to the piano man, but the way they move says it all. What I see here is that this young lady has figured out how to cross that line, you can see it in her whole bearing from the very start, and when she is done she knows she's more than nailed it.

It is refreshing to listen to the great music. But it is also refreshing to see a pretty lady dressed in class. No silly gimmicks, crazy wardrobe, piercings, etc. She just makes us smile for the right reasons.

Yes, I agree with you. Ladyva is always dressed so simply but so elegantly even when travelling between a gig and her home. Another awesome performance and great sound. I've been a big fan of Ladyva's for several years and continue to enjoy all of her music. Would love to see her play in person sometime. Hope that someday she might consider coming to the US for a tour. I know she has a lot of fans here.

I've watched her playing with Brendan at the stations. Such a talent. What particularly impresses me is how she can beat out completely different and often conflicting rhythms with each hand. Her brain must be wired differently to the rest of us!
