Whenever I watch the mighty show "Garage 54" both Mythbusters and Top Gear (the good ol' episodes) come to mind. Great ingenuity and experimentation combined with crazy automotive FUN.

Wife had an early 1200cc potting shed model in yellow. Paid £150 for it years ago, she loved it. Sold it for scrap, rusted out, 6± years later for £120 !. Best reliable little motor we ever had, and I've had most in my 57 years driving.☺️🏴

Even if it were running at maximum efficiency, it would barely be pushing 120hp at 10psi boost pressure. Stock engine performance is 73hp @ 5600RPM out of 1.5L. They could get better performance with a JDM Honda D15, keep the same displacement and have gobs more power and efficiency for dirt cheap. Honda K series would blow that out of the water. I get it... it's desecration to swap the vintage OEM... but that thing just doesn't have the power. It needs PGMFI at least.

It is so sad for me to see Ladzila finally finished. I so look forward to the upgrades. Lada is a very special car for me, it brings back so much memories of my childhood. Great work with Ladzila. It warms my heart when I see it. Thanx for the videos.

What a beast...Ilike this agressiv look. It seams to eat street for breakfast. Plus it puts me back to year 2000/2003 when I trained to become a mechanic and seen the pictures of the Lader 1300 my Boss build earlyer in his life (with Weber tuned original motor). But That is pushing the Limit to a whole new Level. Try to find words, but only can say awesome and unique. Good work, like this channel a lot.

Definitely the most badass Lada on the road a great job 👍In my country New Zealand 🇳🇿 this model Lada was respected as a tough reliable car a local tyre shop made a 6 door limo and used it for mobile advertising

maybe the sedan body type isn"t the best for this, but otherwise, the shapes of the added bits, their dimensions, and how they change the perception of the proportions of the car would work great for a hot hatch or small wagon or fastback

You could do this more in the future. By that I mean building things and turning them into a finished product, it's pleasant to watch something being built rathen than being destroyed. When it's something coming from another planet like a truck engine and a Lada built into one, even better.

Would be pointless. Before doing anything to the engine, you'd have to strengthen the chassis, build new suspension, upgrade the steering and brakes, otherwise you can't utilize the power.

It would flow better visually. I see what you were going for but it kinda looks unfinished now. Edit: On the last video some called it Blyatiful. Hahaha

The fact is, from oldies to kids, everyone in Russia can easily recognize this car because if the sheer number of years, it has been on the Russian roads...!! I kinda liked the paint scheme, though I initially thought the hood was overdone, but, at the end, it turned out great..!! Love and Respect from India...!!
