Күн бұрынAcclaimed Norwegian guitarist Lage Lund continues to build on his reputation, sparked by winning the Thelonious Monk International Guitar Competition in 2005. Lage is a master of jazz standards and a busy composer as well. He can swing hard and possesses a remarkable harmonic sophistication. Based in New York for the past couple of decades, Lund is a favorite of the legendary Pat Metheny, and he's an important member of both Maria Schneider's Orchestra and the David Sanchez Quartet. Earning great reviews for his new quartet album Terrible Animals, Lage Lund is among an exclusive group setting the agenda for jazz improvisation in the 21st century.

Who knew l’âge Lund was a comedian,,,that beautiful Schottmueller guitar , I would love to own one but it belongs in the hands of someone like mr Lund who can really do it justice

I love his sound so much. I've never heard anything quite like it. So bell like, and so much physical strength in order to produce a delicate sound. His fluidity, harmonic sensibility...dude is on another planet.

Im sure the experience of seeing Lage perform live on this was an even more overwhelming experience. Also a great humour on his spiels such a contrast from the explorative music compositions he performs. Great artist!

Does someone know how he makes all those amazing effects in the intro for “Ernies theme”? It sounds like delay with reverse and expression pedal.

If this was an album, "Revenge of the Cymbals" would be an apt title. An affirmative action by Mr Jorgensen... All jokes aside, this sounds really good/different/crystal clear. I feel like I can just sit and transcribe everything Lage played. So, in a sense, it is also deceptive.

The drummer's ride cymbal is way too prominent in the mix(at least on the first song) ... a little annoying !
