hai semua!
finally i’m publishing my first indonesian cover again in a few years. my last one was a cover of cherrybelle’s brand new day on my old youtube channel back in 2018. i recorded diam diam suka last year but haven’t been satisfied with the result. after participating in the WCBW audisi, making so many indonesian friends and getting to meet virtually the creator of one of my favorite groups, Cherrybelle, I really wanted to sing in Indonesian again!
i chose this song because when i first got into dangdut after being a fan of indopop, this song was super popular at the time and was one of the first dangdut songs i heard along with Ayu Ting Ting and Fitri Carlina’s songs. it was a lot of fun to do.
I hope you enjoyed this cover. It was a fast one to make because it was so fun.
