Lagos, in Nigeria, is undergoing rapid transformation, and at the heart of this transformation is the transportation system. In this video, I want to discuss the government agency behind the transformation of Lagos's transportation system.
In 1992, in response to Lagos's complex transport issues, the Lagos Mass Transit and Transport Systems (LMTS) recommended establishing the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) to coordinate transport policies and actions across different government tiers.
