You have asked the question: "How is he still alive?" The answer is simple. RNG. Even if you do everything right, you can still get bad RNG, and hit 0s, or really low. Sometime RNG just hates you.

When you repair sets does your crafting level matter how much the profit margin goes up? I have like 700 dh sets that I saved up from pking and I was wondering if it’d be better to sell them straight up or fixing them first? I don’t think my crafting level is very high

Now that I think of it, he has a "buy" in the GE so the only thing stopping the transaction is someone selling at that price, so technically the only only reason the transaction hasn't gone through is because no one sold it.
