This morning, after my walk, I started filming my vlog. On the way, I found an old, broken-down car and decided to sit in it to start my vlog. I told my viewers that today, we're going to have my favorite breakfast at Delhi Gate in Old Lahore. I used to have this breakfast twice a week when I lived in Lahore, and nothing else compares to it.
We set off on our journey, and I invited my subscribers to join me. We finally reached Delhi Gate and ordered a breakfast of sweet naan with jaggery and salty lassi. I showed them the famous Shahi Hammam, where Mughal emperors used to bathe, and gave a brief history lesson from outside.
Next, we wandered through the most beautiful alley in Old Lahore and I shared a quote from Mushtaq Ahmed Yousufi about the alleys of Old Lahore. From there, we headed towards Food Street, showing landmarks like Minar-e-Pakistan and Badshahi Mosque in the distance. Although it was 5:30 AM and the Food Street was closed, I explained how it gets crowded at night and showed the beautiful restaurants and the entrance to Lahore Fort.
We then passed through Heera Mandi, also known as Diamond Market or Bazaar-e-Husan, and I explained its history. On the way back, we saw Anarkali Bazaar and I shared a famous line by Anwar Masood, "Mny tu ki jaane pooliye majay anarkali diyan shanaan."
We continued to the Railway Museum, then showed the Lahore Museum, and the National College of Arts (NCA). Finally, we took Mall Road back home. I ended the vlog with some verses from my Punjabi poetry.
