Bhai - I am truly impressed. As an Indian, I sometimes come across Pakistani food channels. Although they seem to make delicious food, I am always put off by the loads of oil and ghee they dunk into their cooking. I could never have imagined that there can be such food items in Pakistan which are completely oil-free and extremely healthy. Watching your preparation, it seems that this is an authentic and original peasant food of the Punjab region. Like good peasant food all over the world, it is simple and cheap, healthy and nutritious, and makes a hearty meal. Keep it up, bhai!

Fun fact: chikar stems from Chikar with the consonant 'ळ" Punjabis (both side), Gujjars, Rajputs and Marathi use it rolling the tongue, so, it's pronounced as chika-r(rolling the R sound that wretched, write words would! It's just indigenous to India and Pakistani speakers and that in just a few pockets of lingual groups here. Baaqi, aapki marzi, thought to share that as I love learning languages.
