Nice job 👍🏽. I’ve gone out twice on Berry and got 3 fish. The fight on those trout were phenomenal. Aerial! I’m noticing lately it does not pay to be on water early anywhere. Bite seems to be after 9-10. Cold water and waits for sun.

D MAN! MORE LIKE SEA MAN! Jk I know trout are freshwater fish. When I was a kid I used to call em rainbow trousers instead of rainbow trout. My grandma just died last night, so it's nice to see you in my subscriptions/feed living it up on the water with a lot of life in ya. Love you Uncle D. If a blind squirrel always finds a nut then what does a blind trout find? A chartreuse lure I guess. PS where do I get one of those hats?

I was out there on the lake the same day man!!! A few buddies and myself were fishing the crappie closet lures crappie tournament!

@@blindsquirrelchannel3853 not too well ourselves, about 20-25 boats and only about 3 came back with fish. We missed weigh ins and the raffle because we towed someone back to the launch, good thing we didnt have anything! Ive never caught a trout out there ive tried a few times

I get just a little excited, all the work and then boom, fish on! Stick to the spoons, scented, 3mph +/-, put in the time and check lures often and keep changing them up and you'll get into them. When you get a bite circle tight and work the area hard, good luck!

I fished striper sturgeon halibut salmon most my life. I've caught 43 pound halibut in the bay 34 striper in the delta 255 pound sturgeon but struggle with trout

I like seeing other people supporting Cal using his lures. How fast were you trolling?I would guess almost 3mph.

Cals lures are always in play, especially the spoons for Berryessa, so much variety with Cals selection. BTW, the hot one for me has been the chrome Trigger Spoon Magnum, that's one I troll in the fast side, 3.2+mph. Mostly I target 3mph and go up and down from there depending on the size spoons out.
