🚂 If you’re staying in Milan, taking a day trip to visit Lake Como can be a very easy trip via train. We took the train from Milan Centrale and The trip took about an hour and 15 minutes to the Varenna-Essino Perledo stop in Varenna, Lake Como.

We went to Varenna & Bellagio. The ferry was 18 Euro for a round trip, and it was a quick really nice ride.
The Gelato we had in Bellagio was some of the best, and we got it from “Gelateria del Borgo,” definitely worth the hike up the stairs.

and not only was the food good, we had the risotto and "lake fish," but the view is incredible.

Hi, no we got lucky...but went btwn I think 3pm- 4pm we waited only like 5 or 10 mins. I don't think they take reservations. But yeh it was amazing. Try the Lake fish in Risotto, it was really good! Please 🙏 make sure to subscribe ❤️

Thank you! It says what time we left our Airbnb in the video...but I think maybe it was like 8:15am our train from Milan Centrale. By the time we had arrived in Bellagio from the ferry, stores were still closed..so I think we got to Lake Como by 9am. It's soooo nice there before the crowds arrive!

Tickets can be bought on-line by several different ways, or just by visiting trentitalia or tickets can be purchased at the train station, but I advise on-line or on the app

Hey there! I hv 6 hrs to spend in these two places. I too plan to take the ferry to Bellagio immediately after I arrive at Veranna around 1.30pm. A quick stop to bellagio and then head back to veranna spend more time there and hv some dinner and catch the 7.25pm train back to Milan. I Hv 3 questions. 1. Is 6 hrs doable? Garden and steps up alley , gelato/drinks in Bellagio. Villa cipressi/monestero and dinner in Veranna. 2. Where do I get the Villa garden entrance tickets? 3. Where do I get the return ferry ticket from Veranna to Bellagio and back to Varenna? Appreciate your help!! The drone footage made this video extra special! I enjoyed it 😎

Hi! Thanks! & please subscribe! I have more Italy 🇮🇹 coming. That's gonna be really hard to do all of that in 6 hrs. Especially being mid day, the ferries get busy, and with it being Summer now the lines are gonna be longer. So you may not make a ferry that you are in line for. We started our day there @ 8:30 am and didn't go on Monestero b/c we were exhausted & it was too late. Everything is a pretty long walk away. You could probably do Bellagio & just walk around the center & get back to Varenna, and maybe get something to eat, but those places also get packed on the water. So you may have to wait for a table. Sry, hope this helped...and villa entrances are usually between 8-12 Euro to get in.

Can I get Villa entry tickets at their entrances and the ferry ticket at the ferry point? I don’t see any video that says where to get the tickets fit ferry and villas.

@@sanctuaryhut2314 yes, both are purchased @ entrance. We did both in video. Also in Milan have a panini @ All Antico Vinaio - they have the BEST sandwiches in Milan ( they are in Florence too) and have dinner @ Rugantino & check out my vlog about Apertivo...we had in Navigli there & its amazing
