That was class Jimmy, there are so many coves to explore and Ullswater is relatively unspoiled and not comercialised like Windermere, it was lovely to watch. I think you had a fish but was under a fast hold so the line and tackle was always going to fail under the amount of tension on the rod. I know its easy with hindsight to offer advice, I would have moved the kayak to another position and tried to un-snag, playing the fish from there. My bets it was a pike because they fight deep not like trout that leap out the water once they are hooked. Anyway Jimmy, I like the way your channel is heading, every video a different adventure. Come to Cumbria, paddle, wild camp, but set a good example and don't set fire to stuff. All of the Lakes are ringed with fire scars and butchered trees! Leave no trace!

Love Ullswater and was there 2 days again, unfortunately in a right bloody rain fest lol! Maybe not have another go at fishing, pity you did not catch it on film - comedy gold!
