Whiteout blizzard conditions and over 2 feet of snow dumped near Redfield, NY with multiple accidents and stranded vehicles in Oswego County during a significant lake effect snow storm.

I miss snowstorms like this. Haven't seen them since I was a kid. My winters the last 15yrs have been snow 2", melt, mud, freeze, ice, snow 2", melt, mud, freeze, ice, repeat for 4 1/2 months, spring.

Yes, people have been spoiled. They have forgotten how to handle this kind of snow. I was here for the big blizzard '66. No visibility for 3 days, and another two days digging out.

we used to average 120"+ of snow here in syracuse, but thankfully that's changing. now our winters are more mild like you mentioned and i'm very happy for it. hopefully it keeps warming and ny turns into pa/virgina weather :)

Hey I came from Montreal to the desert in southern California. Winters are just like the summers just colder. The weather here is just dull and boring. I miss Montreal.

Nice. I used to love driving my 85 4runner up there in this snow in the 90s. .So much fun but also white knuckle driving. Where were those Amish people? I don't remember them up there? Thx
