I will show you a deadly method of caching spawning bass when you can't see them. Light floro line and no weight on a 5 " senko can be a great combination. Find the right bottom, the right depth, the right water clarity and the right cover and you are into a major spawn on the full moons and new moons of February, March and April !

I am so happy you started this youtube channel Roland!! Watched you years ago and caught my first tarpon because I followed your detailed tips! Now I don't have to rely on a TV series that most of the time is not aired in my area! I am a retired teacher and love they way you SHOW us HOW to catch fish. Your enthusiasm is amazing. Couple quick questions....Did you switch reels with 12 pound test or did you just change the leader and use the same braid? Looking at the background it looks intimidating to fish Okeechobee without a GPS because it all looks the same. Is a GPS a must to get you back to the dock? I haven't traveled to the southern end of Okeechobee. Does the structure near your Marina look like the area you filmed this episode? If so how on earth would you know where to start in a lake that seems to have weed beds everywhere! Keep the videos coming!!!

Thank you for responding. Can you please explain the lake water conditions during different times of the year for Lake Okeechobee? Is the water clarity always muddier in the south or just at different seasons? Is the north end better in the spring because of water clarity? Do wind patterns dictate muddy water conditions? Thank you !

Catching Largemouth Bass off the bed is Fun and Easy. My wife is amazed how I do it when she just can’t even catch just one off of a bed. She gets really nervous and impatient but it will happen if she does not quit trying. It is like stealing fish. Put that Buck Bass in the live well and that female will bite pretty soon. Practice Catch and Release of course.

@@RolandMartinOutdoors i do brake a few off but not as manyas you might think. I check for damaged line and re tie several times throughout the day. I use a slower reel (6.3:to 1) and dont horse them. For me its just more fun. I fish allot of small lakes in city parks here in Missouri that get allot of pressure so I adapted my techniques. Grew up in Florida though. Wish I could fish Okeechobee again. My dad showed me how to fist a texas rigged worm there and on the St. Johns river.

If G'd is so wonderful and merciful, why not love him instead of fear him? Never made sense to me. Maybe "the fear of the Lord" is what parents instilled in their kids to keep the kids from doing the wrong thing. I guess that's like whipping them in advance of a bad act. BTW - how many folks authored the bible? Almost 50, right? Now ask, how many of them are relating FIRST HAND experiences, rather than "hearsay"? Too many cooks spoil the soup, and, BTW, "gospel" comes from the same language base as "gossip". Just saying...
