It would be super awesome to see a video of you breaking down where and how the lake record bass has been caught each time. As long as the other two guys would be willing to give up that info. That would be a very interesting video to sort of track that fish.

@@SBFishing ok that's cool. I remember u had messaged me a while back and told me I forgot. Thanks for replying back. U guys are always good about taking time to message people back and that's nice. Hopefully y'all can break the record in the lake. I have learned from fishing lots of smaller golf course ponds etc in Florida and caught the same 8 pounder a few times and think it's the biggest in the pond then all of a sudden u up it by a couple pounds I bet there is a bigger one in that lake that nobody's caught yet

HUGE fan. I’ve been using a 7’2H for flipping and 7’3xh for frogging. They’ve quickly become my favorite.

Goes to show catch and release works, and it also seems to be that fish is much more aggressive than your average bass. A great gene to have lol

Are these tournaments usually on the same body of water over and over? If so, is there any concern about the fishery having so much pressure? If it is the same lake and you guys still pressure it, that's pretty sad! I hope is isn't.

Same body of water for the last 30 years. Do you really think 20 ish boats fishing twice/month is sad? Whatever you do don’t look up the James, Potomac river, or god forbid Buggs island. 😭

@SBFishing Gotcha, thanks for the info. I guess twice a month isn't that bad, depending on the size of the fishery. I was just thinking of how much pressure it receives with tourneys/ practice/ recreational fishing and the fact that the same big bass had been repeatedly caught. Thanks for sharing, I'm just always concerned and didn't mean to sound negative. Thanks
