Waterfalls, monkeys, and views to die for! Come with us on a beautiful day trip across Lake Toba - driving across Samosir Island to the mainland to check out some of the top Lake Toba attractions.
We've been out of action for a few weeks (musim sakit is here - aka sick season!), but our lovely friend Trudy is visiting from Australia, so Agung took her on a fun scooter road trip to show her some of our favourite spots in Lake Toba, North Sumatra.
Join Agung and Trudy as they make the most of a sunny Samosir day and visit Air Terjun Efrata (Efrata Waterfall), Tele Tower, and Aek Rangat Hot Springs to the West of the world's largest caldera lake.

Smells like boiled eggs (sulphur) if it is the same as our NZ hot pools Agung - that hot pool looked great - do people swim or is it too hot? Yay! It’s a bit random at the moment. This week we have had rain most afternoons and some evenings - even a few morning showers. But last week was quite nice without so much rain. Either way, the rain is usually only in the late afternoon and night. 😊
