I saw Lakecia perform for the first time yesterday at the Riverview Jazz Festival in Jersey City and she and her band were absolutely fantastic, powerful, inspired, dynamic and as funky as it gets. There were no weak links in the band. One of the best shows I have ever seen and I include all genres and I have the widest, most eclectic range of musical taste of anyone I have ever known. My only complaint would be a joke if it wasn't true...the guitarist needed to turn up the volume.

She can sound like that on an A35? Amazing. I've heard people sound great playing in a symphony orchestra on that mouthpiece. I also like the fact that she can play with such character, color, and emotion in her sound, without making a lot of faces or other histrionics.

I guess if you play “instrumental pop”/smooth jazz tuning is optional
