Be careful with that man lift on soft soil with soft tires, especially fresh compaction next to the foundation.. By the time you noticed it tipping, it would be too late. Make sure Cat is never under the load. It's not made for lifting... That being said, I would do the same thing 😆. If you have some steel plates you could put on the ground for stability (or wood), that would really help. Or level the area and put down gravel. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the tips! The soil is compacted pretty good albeit just really sandy for great drainage. We do keep an eye on how level Larry is and in this instance it sunk pretty much even as you can see from the tracks once Bob pulled him out. I know it isn’t supposed to be used as a crane but it is rated for 500lbs and most of the trusses are 150lbs max. (Disclaimer: This channel is for entertainment purposes only. While under the lift a hard hat might make a glancing blow survivable and is worth trouble.

This is what the engineer specd and it is a 12/12 pitch with a metal roof so I don’t expect the snow to be sitting on the roof for long. 😂 Thanks for watching!
