If he listens to his father, he will have a long career. But the problem is that a lot of kids think that they are smarter than their parents and want to go their own direction. Two things most ordinary people hate in life. 1. Working for a boss with no credentials who got the job because they’re ‘mates’ with someone. 2. A person with 0 talent who you have to work with because their parent got them the job. The Lakers have both scenarios in the team at the same time. Watch them implode the next 12 months when the losses start to mount. You’ll then see the brutal reality of life and sports. Something Buss will never understand growing up in her ivory tower. Don’t be shocked if the Lakers own fans boo ‘Bronny’ wildly when the losses rack up…

This is a low risk, high reward pick on a basketball standpoint. Very seldom you get a quality pick that late in the draft. And due to his cardiac incident he didnt reach his college potential, but his work ethic & maturity can really be valuable. Marketing wise, the lakers can really milk this.

Give the kid a chance...you never know he could be one of the greats. But learning under lebron in the NBA will be invaluable.
@DNchannel072 күн бұрын
55th in the draft doesn’t mean anything. He got the ticket to get in and the chance to prove he can level up. His dad got the know how and the right staff around him. I’m pretty sure the punchline reminder is to “work hard and prove them wrong”.. He definitely can surpass kids who are currently more talented, because of the training staff around him and Lebron as his mentor. Also, he doesn’t ever have to worry about money. This has been taken care of for life. 100% focus on basketball.

Fact of the matter is because of his dad, he was put on the radar. So if any other team out there wanted him that’s great. But the fact that the Lakers are the ones that shows him is pure nepotism and sickening. Any other team if they chose him would have no other choice or basis to select him other than talent and what he brought to the floor. The Lakers did it to keep LeBron happy. Not because of what the kid actually brings to the table. It’s bullshit for the franchise, the fans and Bronny himself. Like if he was selected by Phoenix or Dallas, at least he would’ve been legitimately selected based on talents of some sort that they saw

The fact that he can make a giant comeback from a cardiac arrest and prove to teams your work ethic and to work for his goals is a giant achievement. LeBron is letting Bronny be himself and not be the shadow of his legacy. Yes there will never be haters but he truly is taking full advantage of the opportunities he is given. If he goes to g-league and gets called up after his skills develop like other stars have due to the potential he has confirms his love and passion for the game. He is a smart young guy. Let him be himself

The Lakers drafting Bronny James is a sad day for the Lakers franchise and the NBA. Nepotism has no place in the NBA. Other NBA greats like Shaq and Patrick Ewing would have loved for their sons to have played in the NBA, but they didn't push the NBA to draft their sons like Lebron James to make their wishes come true. Also, l think the collusion by Lebron James and Klutch Sports to get Bronny James drafted over far more talented NBA prospects should be investigated. The integrity of the NBA draft has been tarnished forever.
