I will NEVER get tired of the commentators freaking out over that comeback against marn.

His skill is undeniable, but more than anything I love his personality. His mouth is just as good (sometimes better!) as his ability to manufacture salt, I could listen to his taunts and commentary all day.

I watch this video every now and then just for the hype. It always make me smile

True. Combofiend himself even said before on a stream that he doesn't like being the "comeback" fiend. Because that isn't his intention. He really is trying to win straight up and he gets blown up. Although his spencer is undeniable godly. He did say he wishes he could be that good with all his characters and not be put in those situations at all... either way comebacks are always fun to watch than straight beatdowns/perfects.

FUNNY THING: I was watching that first fight live. I just remembered an extra hype BIONIC ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRM!

@ 16:30 onward.. James Chen's mind is blown for more than a minute and it's hilarious with him trying to cope with it.. and then he gets to experience another comeback 2 minutes later. Great compilation dude.

Spencer is a comeback char. No matter how u look at it. Extremely hard to push block, very ambiguous crossups, full combo off any hit, overhead & command grab and of course bionic arm. Not saying combofiend isnt good (i think he's the best in mvc3). But spencer is especially good at creating "JUSTIN WONG OMG " moments. On a side note i miss the old HUD

What he means is it's a move that cause the opponent to get knocked off the ground. When you do an OTG you can continue the combo because they get knocked slightly in the air. An OTG is what Spencer did at 1:45, he picked up Mag off the ground, so it's an OTG.

I can't help but feel this is what goes through his head: I am down to one character. They have most of their health remaining. What do? The answer, of course, is Bionic Arm.

It's like Combofiend just decides to win and does. sick.

In hindsight, marn's vergil dying to nemesis of all characters is hilarious.

OTG stands for Off The Ground. It is a move that picks the opponent up off of the ground whether it is off of a soft or hard knockdown. Hope this helps

That's just due to lack of practice, especially if you're talking about motion registering properties. The control pad does just as well against the fight stick, the only reason so many players use the fight stick is, because it gives the player a more arcade-ish feel while playing.

yea because when the game first came out I picked Spencer and thought he was a bad character, then I dropped him. Combofiend came out with these epic matches and fan-boys started biting his style.

Goes to show ya need the Arcade Pad thing to do the best combos. :/ I try mad long combos with the 360 controller but they dont connect fast enough unless you cripple your fingers in the process XD. Ima prolly just buy a Acrade Pad for this game.
