Great tour of obviously a nice campground area for the family. We have never been beach campers but for those that are this looks like a great place to do it. Volleyball courts huh lol. I know where there is more. Another story. My granddaughter is a big volleyball girl in arizona so i love the sport. So campers the boones know their stuff. They have my vacation packed full of eating establishments for my vacation starting next Saturday. Thanks boones for another great video

You are welcome - I remember watching the Men's Bud-Volleyball tourney on TV in the 80's and hearing the winners made $50,000 each. I knew right then what my destiny was...but when I kept hitting the net on serves, I realized it was harder than I thought. Lol So, I got a $3.35 hr. Job, and look at me now! I'm lucky if I can afford a volleyball from Walmart. Lol We're planning on filming the GC pier (Friday 12th) sometime between 5-7. If you're around, stop by and say hello.

We stayed at Lakewood 2 years ago. It was nice but we prefer Pirateland. Lakewood has more amenities but Pirateland has a better family vibe and is more laid back. A LOT quieter than Lakewood for sure.

Been to ocean lakes its crazy in there. Always stay in pirateland but might have to stay in lakewood next trip

Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, Ocean Lakes is super-big, but super-packed as well. We've stayed there years ago and it was busy then. I can only imagine now a days. Thanks.

We understand. I'm glad we said that before you brought one all the way down. Ocean Lakes, right next door to Lakewood will let you bring your own carts in. Hope this helps.

Do you know if Lakewood allows alcoholic beverages around the pool areas or any other areas on site? No glass of course 😊

I believe they don't say too much if your can is in a koozie and your on a golf cart - and not being disruptive and loud, but not sure around the pool. You may want to watch what others do to see if they say anything first. Hope this helps.

They have villas and camper-houses for rent. Check them out on line. The beach is within walking distance, or you can rent a golf cart. Lot's of fun. Thanks for watching.
