About Video - Lalbaug Ganpati workshop is a place where artists make and design Ganpati idols for the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. It is located in Lalbaug, a locality in Mumbai, Maharashtra. According to one article , many young artists come to Lalbaug to fulfil their dream of making Ganpati idols, and some of them work under the guidance of Ramesh Rawale, who has two workshops in Lalbaug. One of the most famous idols made in Lalbaug is the Lalbaugcha Raja, which is considered to be one of the most visited and richest Ganpati mandals in Mumbai. The idol is made by Kambli Arts, a family-run business that has been making the idol since 1935. One of the idols that was made by Kambli Arts was destined for the festival at actress Shilpa Shetty’s house. She was seen carrying the idol from the workshop to her car on Wednesday evening.
