Glad to see Baitak Ghan - an artform of humble origin with its Bhojpuri echoes - being given expression and recognition in Europe. The Metropole Orchestra more or less dampens the true vibrancy of this artform

Translation of the poem I sang: the ship started from Calcutta, but there was nobody with me my brother, father, and also the coulorfull Holi festival all got left behind the train cam e from the eats and the ship came from the west and took my husband away railway has becaome my co wife who has taken my husband away rail is not my enemy, ship is not my enemy, money is my enemy which makes my husband go from country to country

Aadarniya, Rajmohan ji Namaste. Lockdown ki wajah se mera aajkal samay Yotube par beet raha hai. Is darmyaan aap se parichit hua. Aap ka karya bahut sarhaniye hai iske liye aap ko sadhu waad,subhkama. Bharat mein rahkar bahut log jo nahi kar paye aap ne kar dikhaya.

it was really good. but it lacks the vibe and energy of baithak gana in a less formal setting. soerin seems very restrained.
