In a year where Joe Burrow got hurt again and Herbert underperformed and had a terrible team, the only one still being questioned by his big contract is Lamar. He could win the MVP, SB MVP and any other award they throw at him and the morons would still say "Yeah but can he do it next year?". As a fan, I totally want him to win a SB because I want my Ravens to win one. But he's the best QB this franchise has ever had. Period.

This is crazy. I’m sitting here in tears because I think about all the times I’ve been a “Lamar Jackson.” It’s not just the city who he’s representing, it’s all of us. In 2024, the Lamar Jacksons of the world still have to go above and beyond to prove ourselves. It’s so disheartening and disappointing. It’s very much like if Lamar wins, WE win!!!

Last time Lamar was in the playoffs he was throwing to guys like Willie Snead, Seth Roberts, and Miles Boykins. Also had a run first OC who couldn't scheme up pass concepts to save his life. Burrow, Hurts, Allen, Purdy, Tua, and Herbert all got weapons on the outside within 2 years of entering the league. Tyreek and Waddle. Chase, Higgins, Boyd. CMC, Deebo, Kittle Ayuik. AJ Brown and Smith. You get the point. Lamar finally got solid weapons on the outside and an OC that understands passing concepts. Lets see what he can do now.

Lamar winning a SB will be the most important/monumental moment in the history for the black QB. Bigger than Doug Williams, bigger than Vick being the #1 pick, even bigger than if Mahomes matches Brady for SB wins. He was told he needed to be a WR in the NFL, called a RB, criticized n told he couldn't negotiate his own contract, etc. Along the way all he's done is be humble, been professional, n exceeded ever expectation. Russell & Mahomes have been in so many commercials over the years & only 1 for Lamar to my knowledge. Lamar may resonates more with the youth but he also is hated by mainstream America. Lamar is so hated that he is the clear-cut MVP for this year and many people want to give it to a RB of all people. The same position that people said he should play coming out of college. Mahomes has a white wife who is besties with Taylor Swift of all people. Lamar's best friend is Kodak Black for crying out loud. I give Dan credit for being honest. Issues like this need to be openly acknowledged and TALKED ABOUT. Pretending like it's not happening just makes it WORSE. I pray that this Super Bowl is a solid step in the right direction for PROGRESS.

But tell you what, if you really want to know how cringe feels, try being a recipient of discriminatory treatment. 😂 The fact that people like you would even dare to speak out and try to deny reality and squelch the truth is proof itself that we need to keep talking about this and calling it out at every opportunity, in every venue and on every platform. You can’t out play your offensive coordinator. They were playing like this was madden. And they brought back mark andrews and it slowed down the team. I think if Harb's had been more of a mastermind type coach, the 2019 season would have ended with, at the very least, a Superbowl appearance ! I truly think the only thing that can hold this team back this year would be poor coaching decisions.
