Ben Simmons has nothin on lamar. If lamar was in the league today he would be better now then he did back then
@kylemoody83145 жыл бұрын
Very underrated rebounder as well... he knew where the ball was going to come off the rim... him and gasol complimented each other perfectly too
@Phushprada14 жыл бұрын
He was never underrated, he fell off the path too soon, otherwise I believe he would’ve been great....just when his career was taking off, the wring way caught him.... his downfall has nothing to do with the NBA but his struggle with his own demons!!! Some of us have to really experience hardships to become wiser.... I pray he finds his way back because he can still be great....and hopefully the NBA will believe in him just as much as we do....

Lamar was elite in terms of talent. He can even play defense and rebound. The only weakness he had is that he is his mental state. There are games where his head is not into it.

Such a special and interesting player. Never was an all star but was definetly all star calibur. Even this highlight vid basically shows he can do anything you ask of him. Happy to witness him win 2 rings and a 6th man

How can you be 6'10 and have the skills of a 6'2 PG. With incredible defense and swag. So perfect for the triangle

He looks just like KG. With his handles he could have been an all time great like Kevin Garnett.

This dude was way ahead of his time. Would’ve been a superstar in today’s game without a doubt!
@drunkenmasterii3250 Жыл бұрын
He could’ve been a superstar back then too, talent and fitting in the game was never an issue. His work ethic, dedication to greatness and just overall motivation were just not there for that.
@patiencebarnett35748 жыл бұрын
People need to realize who unique of an player Lo was. He could play every position on the court, and his rebounding and pick & roll defense was top.

+Patience Barnett he was a great player and had a great career....he had it all, fame, money, the rings, fans, everything. dude came from nothing and it's crazy how he pissed it all away
@benc357288 жыл бұрын
+undertoes money or fame doesn't make people happy sometimes. Lamar lost his son, he just lost a really good friend recently, his wife left him, his mom died when he was young, he was in a car crash when he was young and had to see his cousin die. This dude has been through A LOT.
@patiencebarnett35748 жыл бұрын
undertoes the only happiness he had was playing in front of adoring fans in staples center. Once that was taken away from him he had nothing to escape to.

I am a big fan of Kobe but Lamar is my fav in Lakers expect Kobe. He makes me feel like NBA player is also an actual person in life even though we might not able to know them especially for the people like me who is living outside of America. Sometimes when I look at Kobe , I will feel inspired and touched by his spirit but for Lamar, somehow I feel a invisible link with him. He is like someone I know in my life, having his climax and struggling at the same time. Not hero, not perfect genius, just a moral person like everyone in the world. When I experience the pity for him, I am feeling all the regrets in my life. He is someone I don’t know but feel very familiar to. Wish him the best😔

+Pat Sajak It already saddens me watching kobe play in this day and age in this fashion and it only saddens me more hearing the news about lamar odom. The offense run by kobe-gasol-odom was once the prettiest thing in the league.

@tghetto58 жыл бұрын
LO was good but should have been even better. 6'10, could shoot, dribble, play D, go coast to coast, pass etc. If he had Lebron or Kobes work ethic maybe he could have been an all time great. He had the size for it.
