Porsche GT2 RS has 700hp and weighs 1470kg. The driver in the Porsche has a more aggresive driving style. Lambo stats 640Hp and weighs 1376kg and what appears to be a cruzy lap by the lambo driver. Ignorant people make ignorant comments haha.....

tormen76 or beacause the car is very light for there's no heavy hybrid system. keep in mind that the 918 is by far the heaviest of the big three, but manages to keep up because of its clever 4wd system (among other things). this lambo is a lot lighter than the 918 yet it still has 4wd. On the other hand, lamborghini is part of audi which is owned by VW, just like porsche. I think we can conclude VW dominates the ring

There is no thing called "barely street leal" . They are streetlegal (DOTapproved. simple. Pirelli Trofeo R, Toyot R888 and any other preformance tire is street legal and you can fit them in any car you want. THeporsche 918 used Michelin Pilot sport cup that are basically the Pirelli trofeo rivals. Thats a poor excuse.

No. This took much less than that. The fuel tank is 80 liters and the run consumed about 15%. Therefore, around 12 liters.

The big Lambos always need a V12 drivetrain. Which is in general available with a awd drivetrain. So in terms of performance it suffers from that. To big, to heavy - it will never be a track car (even with all the carbon fibre). Its a street sportscar with the ability to go a few hot laps. It was never made with race performance in mind.

watch Mischa Charoudins Channel to see his opinion on it. Something NEEDS to be wrong, he found multiple errors (speed jumps from 130 to 190 in 1 frame, lower start and end speed at the long straight then the 918 while somehow still being faster by 0.6s over the length 244-290 faster then 255-292 hows that supposed to work). There is something fake in it, most likely sped up at the straight and best parts cut together to make it look nice.

Too many dumbs talk about the nurburgring times, pretending like they know well about the track, but the truth is they don't. You should first know what happened to nuburgring recently. The new construction work of nurburgring have made the whole thing different. With the new track, Porsche 911.2 GT3 set the record 12 seconds faster than 991.1 model, only with 25hp difference and minor updates. Also the 991.2 carrera GTS have set the record of 7:23 after the construction work, which is almost 3 seconds faster than 560 hp 991.1 turbo s which was set before the construction work. Now you see the difference of before and after the construction work? Same for the huracan performante period

Assetto Corsa released the Performante on Dec 20th, and I finally got a chance to boot it round the ring. Gotta say, Marco Mapelli has extraordinary talent. I've been sim racing for 10+ years and can lap with the best of them, even so, I only managed a 6:56 after a few warm up laps, and this was done with reckless regard for my own virtual life and what I thought was a flawless lap. Great job Lamborghini and Marco!

Wow, just wow. These are going to sell!! Amazing to see how a 250-300k car from today can beat an almost 900k hypercar from almost 4 years ago. A lot depends on the driver and the conditions though. So I guess on many tracks the 918 might still be faster. Also some parts of the Nordschleife were rebuilt in the last few years. Amazing time though, congrats! Love the Huracan

thats because its fake, they cut the best runs together to a single run. There are Speed-jumps from 130-190 in 1 frame as well as a somehow faster straight then the 918 while the Huracan entered it at 244 and ended at 290 versus the 918 entering at 255 and ending at 292. Apparently the Huracan was 0,6s faster anyways? They cheated and sped it up. Fake bullshit to boost the hype.. watch Mischa Charoudins explanation on it, he has gotten this all proven with timestamps and a comparison video of the 918.

06:52 that's really fast 😳 I tried it on Forza Motorsports 6 on the same Lamborghini Huracán, upgraded every parts of the car, Engine stuff, Clutch, transmission, suspension, and tuned it myself (0-60 in 2.2s and 228mph top speed) running in Racing tyres and I finished the lap at 07:40+ (if I remember correctly)

Is this Huracan modified from the stock version though? Look at the cockpit view. It has a roll cage. Would the stock production version come with a roll cage? The 918 did not seem to have a roll cage when it did that lap, from what we can see in Porsche's video.

As a german fan pointed out, a Huracan GT3 was slower than this. This wasn't a production car. Period.

It also had different tires made specially for the car by Pirelli, which supposedly won't be sold with the car, until an independent car tries to set the time I won't believe, sort of like Nissan which fakes their gtr times.

they weren't before, they were especially made for this car, sure they might be available now, but that doesn't matter of course. if the data Lambo has shown is legit I'll believe it. I just find it hard to believe that his car is somehow faster than the GT3 version, but oh well. And Sanji, yes they have, most of their record breaking cars weren't sold to the public, they were lighter, had different tires, roll cage, Porsche bought a brand new GTR a few years back, and the car simply couldn't put down the times that Nissan claimed.

But I think 918 can beat this record of 6:52.1 because the 918 record was healed at 2013 n in 2016 the track has been changed for some safety purpose so I think this last time is valid and the 918 can beat this easily

Bow to the Kings!! I've been a soapbox preaching fan of the Big Bad Bull since my youngest memories. I have even gotten to ride in on several times. It just made my love for the brand stronger. It makes me fill with joy seeing this video. I have always longed for the day, Lamborghini is the fastest, period. It was always a battle between camps in Italy. The Countach vs. F-40 , Diablo vs. "Testy-Rosa" , and it just kept happening. This video says more than the average car fan will notice. This was a record lap. No doubt about it. But it doesn't show truly how fast this car really is. What someone watching had to pay attention to is percentages. What percent do the cars in other videos stay standing W.O.T. in their laps? Most of the time its generally largest percent W.O.T., then braking, then time off-throttle. Listen to this v-10 handle this track up. Most of the time I viewed this I was thinking, where did the full throttle roar go? Simply because he was running it so fast yet there was more to go, still! The fact that it is obviously I would say at the most, 4 seconds faster than this video (given conditions, lighting , track temp, race tires, ETC.) is amazing. You don't even hear much abs correcting overzealousness. Or Rev Limiter, or tires squealing because they are being pushed hard. In Fact those tires did the job exceptionally well. Hail to Pirelli! This beauty is just so much more monster than people know. Stay out of the way little pony, there is a stampede coming this way. (you can use that in your advertising. I don't mind. LOL)

Folks say the Lambo time is fake, but believe a GT2 can improve its' previous BEST time by 31 seconds. Really? Lamborghini has essentially turned their car into part airplane. They gave it a rudder and alerons. It is just physics. Think about how cool torque vectoring is. Brake the inside rear wheel, give power to the outside wheel, equals better turn in. Now, the same situation in the Lambo. But the Lambo is using air to push down on the inside of the car. More steering traction from the front inside wheel. More traction on the torque vectoring inside rear wheel. More physical grip on the inside wheels from down force. This makes both the turn in of the front and braking of the inside rear wheel better. And then on the straight, the downforce is turned off for better top speed. Downforce, and drag, full on for braking. Simple math folks. Lamborghini wins.

Also as far as i know,the tire used for the car in this lap was a special edition Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo R,a semi-slick tire,when don't u @Lamborghini try to use that tire in ur cars for sale?
