Finalized the outdoor pen for the first group of ewes/lambs to come outside, and moved everything out of the barn. I set up a new creep area for the lambs to find, and deal with the snow and cold weather returning. Thanks for watching everyone!

Reminds me of when my family raised sheep. We lambed out over two hundred ewes. I understand the way it is when it is lambing season

The sheep seem to respect the gate, when you're using it to push them ahead.. the cows on the dairy farm usually would respect it too, but if they decided they didn't want to be pushed a certain way, there's no stopping them

Mainly a cow guy here so pardon the question but there is no concern with acidosis when feeding straight barley? Great vid, those lambs are adorable

At the stage I introduced it here there is not a risk, as it is just used to introduce them to solid food. Their main food source still comes from milk. I did forget to mention that I blend soybean meal in the creep feed. I will explain my creep feed/the risk of acidosis - and how I mitigate it - in a few videos. Appreciate you watching!
