Lambsquarter Flour
Plant type: clumping 6-9 foot annual
leaf: diamond shaped, wavy teeth margins, pale green whitish underneath, alternate branching, goose foot
Early leaves most tender, but can be harvested through till frost, collect seeds in the fall. lambs quarter leaves are best when eaten from a plant less than a foot tall, larger leaves are better cooked. Keep farming it to keep the leaves tender

This is 2022 now and I just found this. I recently discovered that this wonderful plant is good for food. It's all over my yard and I used to yank it, thinking it's a weed. Now I am looking for any way to use it. Thank God for completely free food, basically effort free!

I have a ton of this growing in my yard and I cut down a bunch to dry straight from the stalk and now it's hung up to dry. I didn't even think of pulling the leaves off the way you did so they could keep growing, what a brilliant idea. I also didn't know I could make flour with it, thank you so much for showing us the uses for this wonderful plant! Hearing you get called for breakfast was awesome haha, love it!!

Awesome wild edible that Lambsquarter is! Yesterday I made venison vegetable soup & added leaves of Lambsquarter & Sorrel to it - yummy ! Sometimes I cut the stems of Lambsquarter up, dehydrate it & grind it up, then mix it with ground Sorrel & Purselane . I also add Lambsquarter to my veggies when I ferment them. Isn't it awesome that YaHuWaH planted all these wild herbs for HIS children to enjoy ? I can;t wait to watch your video on using Lambsquarter flour to make bread, etc. Thank you so much !

If you don’t have a big bowl for the dried herbs you can put them in a brown paper bag and crush them in it. I used it for my dried nettle before extracting it with whiskey. Dried kale mixed with nettle powder can be a great addition to quinoa, rice or pasta dishes.

At timestamp 5:02 - 5:06 I noticed orbs in your video. If you playback as slow as possible, you can see them going back n forth and turning up and down. The infrared in the cameras pick them up! Thank you for sharing. I grew a whole patch of lambsquarter and in one night the deer devoured it. Anyway, next year I will try this! God Bless!
