this la rotta version is NOT the original one. this is more of a rennaisance version. it was originally written way back in the medieval times, where the baseline was a simple drone, defining the rythm, and the treble melody was much simpler. this is more in the style of 'rose liz'. you could check 'mohammad' version on ytube on 'la rotta'. that is much closer.
