Lamphun Walking Street Market ตลาดคนเดินลำพูน happens every Friday on the river road, in front of Wat Prathat Haripunchai in the heart of the old city of Lamphun. There are so many stalls selling a wide variety of food, clothing, plants and other market stall products. The market is a great place to enjoy an evening meal or snack and also take in the wonderful ancient temple which is the focus of all traditional events in Lamphun. Less than an hour outside of Chiang Mai city, easily accessed by road, this event is a perfect place to visit when staying in Chiang Mai.

Its a nice place infront of the beautiful temple Wat Phra That Hariphunchai. Its same everywhere in Thailand. Plastic packaging toooo much. they don't skimp on it. Greatings from Phitsanulok

I have never seen shrimp that large here in the US. I can't eat them anyway but, Thailand has some colossal shrimp.👍🙏

@@GoodLifeinChiangMaiThailand My guess is decades of overfishing here in the US has caused all of our seafood to be much smaller than in other countries. I saw a foreigner Joe video a few months back with someone eating a lobster tail that hung over each end of the plate. We don't have lobster that big as a whole lobster for the most part. I guess in the deep south it would be different than what I see in my state. Maryland, where I live is known for blue crabs. It can be tough living in a state known for crabs. 🤣 I get sick from any seafood so I really know little about any of it.🙏👍
