I had this reel in both a 5+ and 9+, nice reel, drag very strong, nice machined full cage design, great value but not quite a Ross or Lamson for me.

Not quite the best value Lamson saltwater reel…. I just picked up the Lamson Centerfire from the Tridents ‘used’ section for $320… great service as always, thanks Ben and the team.

Lamson classify their products into too many ranks dizzyingly. The high end products like Waterworks Force is delicate and super expensive, but didn't have a low end version.
