This is my first MV for the Mo Dao Zu Shi fandom because Jin GuangYao bought my soul...
and #XiYao 曦瑶.... XiYao ended me..
Mo Dao Zu Shi is a B/L novel with many adaptations, anime and manga series (donghua and manhua, audio drama)-- including this, a live action drama titled "#TheUntamed" [ChengQingLing / 陈情令] main characters are Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji you'll see them lovebirds a lot in other The Untamed MV / FMV too
Also what do you mean these two had a tragic ending aren't they happily married with children? Just like wangxian... they're all happy

@Lilly the Baby In the beginning, Yao has a box in his hands which the Nie clan gives the Lan clan, and Xichen is the one who takes it, and when he does his finger gently touches Yao's finger, while they are looking at each other like they are in love :)

zewu-jun can't wash his own clothes because he's too strong he ripped his clothes so meng yao washes them since he knows all of the women's chores (he was raised in a brothel) however as per the author zewu-jun will eventually be married to an unknow girl (like in his sect or something)

honestly it's like another version of Wei Ying and Lan Zhan's story that has a worse ending and spirals into complete disaster. Why can't they just be happy!

ABSOLUTELY ! he deserved to realize that Lan Zichen's love for him was enough to not make the bad choices he did... but obviously he wouldn't count on it too much, bc it wasn't enough for him... after the whole world treated him like this, why should he just not care at all anymore?

In all the relationships/friendships, Jin Guangyao and Lan Xichen's relationship is the most saddest to me. Following with Xingchen and Xueyang. Xichen trusted Guanyao, they were sworn brothers and he had a special spot in Xichen's heart.

@@AVee When I read these parts in the book, I did feel sad in a way that JGY and LX both held a spot in their hearts for each other, having cared for each other and making a relationship between them that lasted for a long time. What JGY did, was mean and horrible, but I also understand why LX can't exactly hate him for everything. In a way I guess I am saying that JGY and LX are definitely have something special between them, also in way that is more than brotherhood❤❤😭😭 ----Also damn great edit showcasing these 2 amazing characters

Of course he had a special place in his heart, he knew that but he went ahead and misused it. I don't care how hurt his childhood was, I don't even give a damn about how much power he wants to gain, he should never have the Lan brother like that, especially the killing of their elder sworn brother Nei clan leader who shown nothing but kindness to this Meng of a boy. In the movie at first glance one would think they were lovers.

Why does great ships always have a sad ending? Except from LZ and WWX, Guangyao and Xichen's lovestory is heartbreaking. Same with Xue Yang and Xingchen. I just want a great and happy ending :`)

Kyria Chua It was actually because of the novel (especially the ending) that made people ship them. After all, all these many CQL scenes that happened between them are in the canon novel ;) It’s lovely how they adapted each scene- they had such a beautiful relationship. 💕

Gosh this is art!!! Did you know that CQL staff ships them so hard, especially the two actors? Er Ge cares about A Yao a lot and they made so much sweet moments while making this series. I've seen the hints in the novel but I don't really ship them till Chen Qing Ling... That hilarious series is interesting, though they're no BL tags, it even gets gayer than the original novel 😻😻😻

Aaaa thanks!! Yes I've seen all their fanservice in the fan meetings THAT FLIRTY PUSHING GAME THOUGH. And the latest noodle feeding I'm-- 😂 I ended up loving the two actors too, they're very natural with each other. I shipped XiYao right after i read their ending in the novel. Cried over them for months (even until now...) Aww after all, these moments between them are exactly in the novel! (Tweaked a bit, but practically THE SAME) This drama series exceeded my expectations honestly, it's a blessing.

He wasn’t evil. He was a character who was abused all his life and, well, snapped. Also, he clearly had some daddy issues that I believe were the root of all his problems in life. If only he could realise he was loved and didn’t go to the Jin Clan, but joined Guzu Lan or stayed with the Nies instead, he would have been brilliant, with his mind and talents.
