Love Is a Dog From Hell is a personal favorite of mine, and I’ve also found a lot of comfort and meaning in The Poetry Pharmacy collection as of late. And you’re definitely not alone in LDR-many, many people feel that way. I think the biggest complaints I hear is how she sounds sad all the time and how her music always sounds the same (I beg to differ, but remain open-minded! I can understand how folks would feel that way). Personally, I love her lyrics and the way she speaks them aloud. I’ll have to check out Wendell Berry. When winter sets in, I find myself looking more to poetry. I loved this comment!

@@SandrasLibrary I will definitely check out Love is a Dog From Hell and The Poetry Pharmacy, I am always on the lookout for new poetry collections! They have now been added to my ever growing list of books. Definitely check out Wendell Berry, he is an essayist, novelist, and writes poetry. The book of poems I read is titled A Timbered Choir. With regards to LDR and music Spotify has conveniently let me know my top bands for the year and they are more folk and country, but topping the list is Lake Street Dive, Natalia Lafourcade, Colter Wall, Lisa LeBlanc, and Derina Harvey Band.

They’re probably one of my absolute favorites bc of the eclectic folkiness, and the lyrics... the lyrics! Rad band. Seven album is a particular favorite!
